2018/2019 WINTER ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME

Following the end of another busy outdoor bowling season (thanks to all members for their support) the Club Management Committee would like to continue to use the clubhouse throughout the period from October 2018 to April 2019. The activities planned are detailed below.

The Club plan to again organize a Short Mat Bowling Members’ League, which will continue to be held on MONDAY evenings, commencing 1st October. (Depending on sufficient support consideration will be given to a second evening each week for social bowling.) A ‘taster’ evening is planned for Monday 24th September, starting at 6.30 p.m. You will require flat bowling shoes and a set of normal bowls; the Club will provide all other equipment. Members wishing to participate in the League are requested to please contact John Osborn or email, as soon as possible, as numbers will be restricted. (N.B. priority will be given to those members who participated in last year’s league). Please also confirm if you would be interested in attending a second evening each week.

The Committee hope that members will make every effort to support and enjoy the activities in a friendly atmosphere. Family and friends will be welcome. Club bar facilities will be available. To avoid disappointment, early seat reservations are recommended. All proceeds to Club funds.
